Dear friends, we made a great job in March.

We have paid a rehabilitiation course in Ratingen for Eldar Eldarov, 13 y.o., cerebral palsy, housing for the period of treatment for Ilya Soldatov, 2,5 y.o., Moscow region, metabolic disorders, scaphocephaly; a device Galileo vibro platte for the removal of sputum from the lungs for Sofia Mushkudiani from Georgia with a severe form of cerebral palsy, 5 y. o. We have helped Isabella Belova from Ufa, 7 y. o., retinoblastoma, with the purchase of tickets for a required examination at an Essen clinic. We have paid a debt to Charite clincs for the resuscitation and additional treatment on behalf of Nicolai Zverev, 8 months old, Moscow, congenital heart disease.

On March 25, 2018, in Cathedral of the Holy New-Martyrs and Confessors of Russia, we have held a regular Easter charity bazaar where we raised funds for the treatment of Sofia Mushkudiani ( 5 y.o., Georgia) and Yulia Rabinovich (10 y.o., Moscow).

Dear friends, thank you for your help and constant support!

We have collected half of the sum needed for the moving of the Kochnovyj family from Donetsk, of whose children two are severely ill. The family has found a suitable option and with the help from our colleagues from the foundation ‘Predanie’ their dream of providing their children with suitable life circumstances and rehabilitation is soon to be fulfilled.

There is a tradition in St. Nicholas parish of Amsterdam. In periods of fasting, the collectants during Liturgy apporoach the parochians with two collection baskets. One of them is for church needs, another one is for a charity goal. By decision of the parish council, the collection of the 2017 Navity fast was for care-receivers of our Diakonia. More then EUR 1,700 has been raised in five Sundays. We hearthfully thank the clerics and parochians of St. Nicholas church for their generous support!
