Our care-receivers say: first program period Dobro More
We visited a wonderful place and participated in a magnificent program called “DobroMore”. The program is organized by the Russian Orthodox Diaconia “Good Deed.” They invited us to Montenegro, organized everything from arrival to departure, they thought out everything to the smallest detail. It’s hard for me to imagine how many months the team worked on preparation of our 6 days going so great. In addition to cordial and friendly volunteers, we had a psychologist who worked directly with the parents. Olga helped not only with an advice, she put many things in our heads into right place. Every day, various workshops and other activities were organized for adults and children, in which adults fell into childhood profilering themselves at ease in something new. We were taught to ride a SUP – these are boats with a paddle, where you need to find a balance to ride not falling into water. We have painted T-shirts, decorated candles, made paintings and adornments from polymer clay, rode horses, performed our own fashion show. We visited three wonderful monasteries and venerated a miraculous icon. The children became friends and showed us a great performance on the last day of the program. All this took place on the premices of a 5-star hotel on the shore of a warm sea, in surroundings of mountains, sun and unusually fragrant air. If we could see the paradise, most likely it would look like that. Our daughter did not want to leave and is a little sad now. We also miss our friends and look forward to a new meeting! Hearty thanks to all the organizers, especially to Alina Titova. Without her, all this could not have happened. This is an unusually sunny and kind person who, for many years, with a team of volunteers, has been helping many Russian families who have been in Germany for treatment or found themselves in difficult circumstances. Lord, thank you for the people you are sending to us!
Our dear friends! You are already like relatives! THANK YOU! I would like to shout all over the world THANK YOU to you for what you do! It was the best week of our lives! Everybody has changed! Me, and my husband, and our child. Moreover, changes have taken place in our hearts … From here, we are taking away so many warm feelings, new skills, ideas and friends. We have become kinder, more tolerant to each other and a hope for a happy future has risen in us! Also, we get a will to do good for others. It’s so cool! After all, we swam in such a sea of good from you that we could not help but catch this. It appeared that there exhist in this world such completely unique and wonderful, rainbow-colored people who do care! Thanks to everyone who was involved in this program. I understand how hard was it to make this happen. And special thanks for the opportunity to just a unique person, Alina Titova. God bless you. Look forward to meeting you again, friends!
I wish to utter the words of gratitude to the organizers and volunteers of the rehabilitation project! At first, my family was somewhat closed and distrustful, since it seemed to us too unusual that everyone was interested in your problems and wants you to be comfortable and well. Yet in the process of communicaton, and also owing to the delicate work of the psychologist Olga, our family started to open up and trust you. At first, there was a feeling that we were in a fairy tale, since in real life you rarely come across such friendly and joyful people. The rehabilitation is definitely required for families who have experienced difficult moments in their lives. It has helped us a lot to become happier, kinder, more self-confident and like-minded. My children and I did not want to leave such a sea of good in which we swam for so many days! Let me also thank the families participated in the program for understanding and kindness! You are all wonderful! I wish you all health, happiness, love and kindness!
