November 2016
Dear friends!
Our achievements in October:
We have transferred funds to Vladislav Konovalov, 3 y.o., Brovary town, aplastic anaemia, for mare bone transplant in an Italian hospital.
We have paid to Anna Ionova, 11 y.o., Moscow, ICP, for rehabilitation in a German hospital and for housing in Germany. We have paid to Ivan Kochnov, 4 y.o., Donetsk, ICP, for rehabilitation in Krasnodar, Russia.
The children waiting for your help in November:
Cherevataya Maria, 19 y. o., myasthenia gravis. The girl from Ukraine has been sick for 7 years. After years of survey, they were able to make a diagnosis, and then made several surgeries. Albeit her condition deteriorates. She has a difficulty to move, walk and talk. A hospital in Nurenberg is ready to take Masha for a surgery. However the years of treatment have exhausted all financial resources of this small family made of a daugher and a mother. We ask for your help. She needs EUR 25,000.
Daniil Bocharov, 17 y.o., from Kazan, retroperitoneal neuroblastoma of 4th grade, is being treated for 10 years alredy. For six last years, they treat him in a Cologne hospital. He has experienced several remissions and relapses. The last one has occured in 2013. One can write a book about endurance and optimism of Danya and his family. From the letter of Victor, Danya’s father: “The feelings of total despair have been changing to crazy hopes for several times per year. The story of terrible experience of Danya and our family is endless. I am sure you are aware of all side effects of the treatment – daylong chemotherapic infusions that give you permanent nausea, pain, vomiting, diarrhea, bleeding, blood transfusions, terrible wounds in the mouth that make it impossible to sip water and say a word… In addition, long stays in hospitals, life far from home, friends and relatives, in a parent’s hostel where we have been dwelling for three years ...” In April, conform to the advice of Cologne medics, Danya got a haploidentical stem cell transplant in Tubingen. Now he has to come under observation back to Cologne, and go to Tubingen only for antibody treatment blocks. The problem is the housing: they cannot come back to Cologne hospital hostel, and have no money to rent a flat. The family requires a regular financial support to pay their housing for the coming year, EUR 700 per month.
Amir Karachurin, 11 y.o. leukemia, requires a volunteer assistance. He is treated in Munster, and is accompanied by the parents. If anybody wishes and has an opportunity to help Amir with medical translations and everyday issues, please ask me for his contact data.
HURRY TO DO GOOD!
Heartfelt hugs,
yours Alina Titova
