The New Year and Christmas holidays have ended. As always, they were full of bright hopes and childlike faith in miracles. May their joy always remain in our hearts!
We were able to give joy to our little and grown care-receives. Traditional congratulation visits for the New Year and Christmas have been held in various German cities.
Here is one of the coordinator reports:
We, with Father Frost and Snow Maiden, have congratulated 30 care-receives on the New Year, among them four seriously ill old ladies, who also rejoiced at the gifts like children.

All the year our volunteers, and you, our dear friends and helpers, have supported those who were having a hard time. In total, the assistance has been provided to 63 families.
Thanks to you, we have raised about EUR 70.000. This money was used to pay for treatment, rehabilitation, medications, accommodation, travel, etc. of 16 care-receivers.
10 children have received financial support from German charity foundations totalling to EUR 63.000 owing to the work of the volunteers of our Department of Clinics and Fonds.
Our Good Deed, and we, its Clinics and Funds Department, continue to help those who always need help: in time of peace and time of war. Now it has become even more difficult for these people to get their children treated. But we remain on their side, help with words, help with deeds.

Over the course of the year, the dozens of pages of medical documents were translated for 15 patients by the volunteers of the Translation Department. 22 people took part in the rehabilitation program. We have helped families with sick children in Ukraine and supported the refugees. Our volunteers were there for dozens of families who needed help. Charity bazaars, holidays for children undergoing treatment or rehabilitation, psychological and everyday support – all this is the work of our wonderful volunteers in various cities and countries. Thank you, dear ones, for your invaluable contribution! We continue to help!

In December, our support was received by:
Anna Ustinova, 9 y. o., Russia, retinal cancer. We have paid for the treatment.
Nikita Suprunov, 10 y. o., Russia, epilepsy. We have partially paid for Urbazon medicine.

In January, our help is expected by:

ANNA ABRAMOVA, 10 y. o., Novosibirsk, Russia. Diagnosis: congenital heart defect. For 10 years, the girl has been regularly brought to Germany for treatment and consultations. At the end of October, Anya and her mother came for an open heart surgery. The doctors postponed treatment due to the condition of the blood vessels, but performed an important surgical correction on Anya’s cleft soft palate. However, the seam came apart and there was a through hole in the nose. This caused a lot of inconvenience: food and water constantly got into the nose, and inflammation became more frequent due to bacteria. The second operation has been made only in January. The mother and Anna stayed in Germany much longer than planned. They had to extend the visas and spend a lot of money on accommodation and food. Now that the doctors have allowed them to go home, they do not have enough money for the plane tickets. They need EUR 1,500 for the trip to Novosibirsk.

ANELIYA KAGARMANOVA, 8 y. o., Ufa, Russia. Diagnosis: multiple heart defects. Anelia has had heart problems since birth. The girl has several serious diagnoses. She has undergone many surgeries. 5 years ago, the Fontan operation was performed at the Charité clinic (Berlin). Now, the girl needs to be examined again. But the family needs financial help. EUR 15,800 is required
