On March 25, 2018, in Cathedral of the Holy New-Martyrs and Confessors of Russia, we have held a regular Easter charity bazaar where we raised funds for the treatment of Sofia Mushkudiani ( 5 y.o., Georgia) and Yulia Rabinovich (10 y.o., Moscow).

For the bazaar, our volunteer team has prepared the following:

• handcrafts made by craftswomen from all over Germany: dolls, toys, decorations, soaps, home decor items, baby blankets and more
• lenten bakery made by the warm hands of our parishioners and not only by them: more than a dozen varieties of cookies, pies, unleavened bread
• goods of Ukrainian craftsmen that have already become a permanent adornment of our sale tables

The bazaar was a huge sucsess and brought positive emotions to both volunteers and buyers!

We can surely and proudly say that in less than 3 hours of active work of the bazaar we were able to rise for our care-receivers a noticeable amount of 2270 €, and expect even more transfers to the account of Diakonia. Our level of training grows from an event to event, we introduce new tools for teamwork and successfully test them in practice. We are incredibly happy that we are surrounded by such a huge number of kind and carying people!
