Дружными усилиями всего прихода церкви Преображения Господня в Баден-Бадене 3 марта состоялась очередная благотворительная ярмарка “Радуйся, Масленица”! Праздник проходил на территории церкви при поддержке нашей крепкой братии и умелых хозяюшек-сестричек!
With the joint efforts of the entire parish of the Church of the Transfiguration in Baden-Baden, the charity bazaar “Rejoyce, Maslenitsa” took place on March 3! The feast was held on the church premices with the support of our strong brethren and skillful and hospitale sisters!

At the beginning of the bazaar, after the introductory word, in which the goals of the Diakonia were outlined, the song “About Kindness” has sounded with an appeal “to warm each other with kindness”. The words of the song touched everyone deeply, and reminded the words of Apostle James: “Faith without works is dead.”

At the bazaar, we have presented a variety of handmade products made by the children of our Parish Sunday School! We were pleased with the handcraftwomen who have brought their masterpieces of knitting and sewing. At the feast, one could purchase spiritual literature, handmade jewelry, various household utensils, fragrant soap and more. As it belongs to Maslenitsa, during the feast one could enjoy hot pancakes – the simple and special ones! One could also taste hot meat pies, fresh pies, waffles and drink aromatic tea.
In addtition, our dear guests and parishioners were given a tour on the history of our church in Russian and German.

All funds raised at the bazaar were transferred to Diakonia “Good Deed” to support needy children! Many thanks to all the organizers, assistants, handicraftsmen, cooks and of course to our generous doantors! Save you all, Lord!
