On Sunday December 11, 2016, the charity pre-Christmas Bazaar took place – for the second time already – on the premises of the church “Protection of the Mother of God”.

This time one could find there delicious bakery, self-made postcards, beautiful Christmas decorations made by children, fine scented soap. There was great live music. Besides, we have organized a family flea market. For this, the families have collected in advance the children clothes, toys and books to be sold at the bazaar.

A joyful pre-Christmas atmosphere was felt. The children diligently designed their colorful Christmas stars. Some visitors were looking for the gifts for their dearest for the upcoming Christmas. Everybody was comfortably chatting with a cup of cocoa and delicious cake.

A week later, on 18.12.2016, the charity bazaar continued on the premises of the Resurrection Cathedral in Berlin.

Despite the drizzle, there were many visitors bringing many donations. In addition to the homemade bakery, they could find lovely self-knitted items- babysocks, colorful pot holders, warm gloves and socks. These things have been knitted by our women especially for this fundraising action.

All together, we have managed to collect EUR 2,115 euros for Dima Vasjukov 1.5 years old. Because of an intrauterine infection, Dima suffers from several serious diseases from his birth. All the funds will be used to pay for his complete and competent diagnostics.

Finally, I wish to thank all volunteers and donators, those who were not indifferent and , with all heart, took part in the good deed.
